In the dark annals of time, our ancestors preserved meat using an archane combination of brine and smoke. These "meat whisperers" were among the wisest of our tribes and in some circles it was blasphemy to even use the word "pastrami" outside of this unholy ritual. Thank goodness the times have changed so we can discuss this without fear of imminent death by preservatives - a "corned retaliation" if you will. The dark arts are alive and well at Reuben's New York Deli. Their legit NY deli pastrami is only further corrupted with the proper arcane rites of half sour pickles and their auspicuously named "Vicious Knishes." It's almost as if the chef here has no shame for their egregious fare ... a truly evil AF dive.
